I like his work, it is interesting the fauna created in the images, living and mimic machines. Truly creative :)

If you are referring to old art, I took most of it down for cleanup reasons.

I like you work especially the aircraft.

However, I think that animalizing land vehicles don't work that well compare to aircraft. There are many similarities between aircraft and creatures that can fly like birds or dragons. They can be animalized without a big change to the original design.

Land vehicles like tanks and train do not resemble any living creatures. Legs are added in order to make them have similarities to real animal,  but this make the machine for example a tank, don't look like a tank. When I look at your "monster tanks/armored cars", I feel that they are machines from Star War, and they are too robotic sometimes.

I am not saying that your work is bad, I just feel that aircrafts are more suited to be animalized than land vehicles due to their similarities to flying creatures.

Ships also have similar problem but not that much compare to land vehicles.

May you give a brief but complete history of your frictional world which your living machines exist?I am interested in the history of technology of this world especially. The history had to be very... strange as I would say in order for humans to build these machines back in WW2 era.

One possible setting is that these living machines are not man made but just appear due to "REASONS",and there can be a interesting stories about the relationship between humans and these machines......May be I have read too many fanfictions:D (Big Grin) :D (Big Grin) :D (Big Grin)

I appreciate this kind of feedback!

I agree, the aircraft work the most seamlessly exactly because of that similarity to animals. However while I sometimes make strange design choices for the other monsters, the reasons for these choices are based on the lore (which I have so far not been communicating visually very well - in part due to time reasons. With future pieces I'm trying to get more concept/storytelling across.) Some of them are very much supposed to look like eldritch horrors in their "revealed" (creature) forms, but still capture the spirit of what they're based on. But I am still evolving some of the designs.

It should also be noted that while I love drawing the all-out creature stuff, most of the time the "biomechs" exist in a far more subtle state: hydrothrax.deviantart.com/art/… and that this will be more of a trend as I continue to paint from this world-setting.

And definitely. The story is strange indeed. They aren't (initially) human-built, but the reason for their existence is tied to what humans create, with the help of a second creature race living alongside them in secret. There is a lot of lore so I'll send it to you via PM :)

Now THIS is the kind of "living machine" stuff I can dig! I imagine some people hate on it for being "aeromorph-y", but they're just trying too hard to knock you down for stuff that's not even lewd. Your art's dope as hell and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

P.S. Why is the margin so close on the right side of the comments here? That space is starving for text!
